We are thrilled to be performing at the 2017 Fringe Series at the Boston Early Music Festival. Come join Ensemble Bizarria on the road as we travel to Boston!

About the Program:

Does it have to be by Bach to be brilliant? What if it turned out that favorite sonata you loved was actually written by his son? Based in the land of Hollywood make-believe and celebrity impersonators in sunny Los Angeles, the group Ensemble Bizarria asks that very question with their light-hearted program entitled ‘Spurious!’ Featuring both well-known and less well-known works which may or may not be composed by Handel, Bach, Corelli and Couperin, we invite the audience to come listen, play musicologist, and try to spot an imposter.

Program Includes: Arcangelo Corelli Violin Sonata in D Major, Anhang 34; Heinrich Biber, Sonata Representative; G.F. Handel Violin Sonata in F Major, HWV 370; Perucino Trio Sonata "La Pucelle", and of course, a few surprises!
